Isn't this the most stunning @IndexCensorship magazine cover? Irina Potapenko, from Odessa, was mainly illustrating children's books before the war started. She's now turned her hand to more political work & says painting gives her strength during this awful time.

You can find the rest of the stories - all emotional gut-punches, and all gorgeously brought to life through storytelling and art - at the SADA website: https://www.sadaproject.org (3/3)

There are 100 million forcibly displaced people worldwide. Each of these is a person with a story of struggle, hope, and resilience. The SADA project tells a single story of displacement through 6 of the 100 million, in their own words. (2/3)

New animation I’m so proud to have made for @AmnaHealing, who do incredible, important work with refugees. My animation tells the story of Yasser and his family, who were forced to leave Syria for Turkey. It’s part of a larger project called SADA, meaning ‘voice’ in Farsi. (1/3)
